GONTA, a Dog that Protected his Home

At last after 4 months, his injuries on his neck was closed completely.
They no longer have to worry that pieces of his fur would grow into open wounds anymore. He’s started taking medication for Filaria too and it’s going well.

However, even if his condition returns back to normal again, he still can’t go back to his owners who are living in a temporal housing. The dog is so timid the vet clinic is doing whatever they can for the dog.

There is a place to hide for the dog when there are thunders or airplanes flying above. And staff members at the clinic who have been comforting and spoiling him.

It’ll be different if he were to live with his owners at a shelter. He’ll be probably tied somewhere outside. If there are thunders or airplanes above, he’ll just have to roll up small and sit there quietly.

If he could return to his old home together with his owners, that’ll be the happiest thing but that’s a dream that won’t come true for now.

So Gonta is allowed to be spoiled at least.
It’s a rainy day today (August 23) and he doesn’t like the rain so he’s hanging out at the clinic, asking people to scratch his back or pat his stomach. It’s like a harlem for him…
