Here is a footage of how the Fukushima 20km no-go zone looks like after 1 year.
From April next month, areas with high radiation levels inside the 20km zone will be completely shut from the outside world. Some thousands of barricades are to be erected and so, a lot of rescue teams are focusing on this area at the moment.
At around the end of the footage, there is a lady talking with a white cat in her laps. She is one of the people at Nyanko House, located just outsize the 20km no-go zone, who has been rescuing cats from inside the zone and taking care of them till the original owners can take their cats back, if they find the owners… There are many other cats looking for new homes.
